Bridget Marquardt - Bunny House - Los Angeles Photography

This past July I had the privilege of working with Bridget Marquardt! You may know her from the original Girls Next Door… or from the Travel Channel’s Bridget’s Sexiest Beaches. Now that she has launched her brand spankin’ new site: www.bridgetmarquardt.com, I can show you more from this shoot!! :) I have had several people ask me… “Is she really as sweet as she is on TV… She just seems SUPER nice!?” I can honestly say… YES! She is amazing! Sweet, fun, easy going, thoughtful… the list could go on… She most definitely is every bit as sweet in person as you think she is! :) Bridget, I had so much fun working with you! You are such a joy to be around and you made my job so easy!

2010 Brazos Valley Bridal Show

Here is a little sneak peek of my booth! :) I will post samples of vendors soon!

A HUGE thank you to Simply Canvas for getting these banners (left and back wall) to me ASAP! There was an ordering mix up and for some reason my order didn’t go through and they went above and beyond to make sure I had them in time for the show!

The canvas (Bride dancing in Paris) and the two prints below are from Bay Photo. They are also Aaaamazing!

Last but not least… my photo-wrap sample storybook album from Collages.net. I heart you guys!

I could not have been more pleased them them!! They are usually used for senior portraits, I put a different image on each one with my name and website on the back…and Brides kept asking for one of each because they loved them so much!

I can’t blame them… I LOVE THEM TOO!

And HERE are my peonies! I really, really, really wanted Peonies at my booth and Debbie with Postoak Florist made it happen! She ordered them for me, I picked them up… and arranged them in my little rectangular vase! That wedding floral design class at Texas A&M comes in handy every now and then!

Kristin & Cody: College Station, TX Engagement Photography

Kristin & Cody!!! Iiiii LOVE you guys! I could have photographed ya’ll all day! I had the pleasure of photographing Kristin’s sisters wedding a year and a half ago… and have seen them at a few weddings in betewen… so I can not begin to tell you how excited I am for Kristin’s wedding in July! (And when you have the opportunity to photograph people who look like Kristin & Cody… how can you not be excited!!!) Maybe I’m biased because they are my couple! (Mmhmm! I claim them!) Cody is on the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Football team… So we began our shoot at none other than Kyle Field! AND to make things better Kristin wore Cody’s jersey!

So. Much. Fun!

Crazy Weather! College Station, TX Photography

I was driving into College Station from Houston last week and experienced the craziest weather! Above me was this overcast gloomy darkness… The clouds above me…and out in front were black… but right underneath the clouds and ahead of me… it was bright blue with white fluffy clouds… You can see a little of the clouds on the right… sunsetcsjanuary2

And to the left of me… was the sun setting… and it looked as though it was setting on the earth and kicking up dust… and illuminating that entire part of the sky in this beautifully eerie way…

sunsetcsjanuary Then it started raining… and I’m not entirely sure how I wasn’t ALL over the road… I mean…I was looking everywhere… opening my sunroof “visor”… to see above me… to the left… straight ahead… and then… I look to the right. And I see this.

Areyoukiddingme?!

I slam on my breaks. Find a random driveway. (It happened to be the driveway to the Brazos Valley Equine Hospital in case you need your horse doctored up… there ya go!). I turn in… jump out of me car, in the rain… grabbed my camera, switched my lenses and frantically started shooting…I fly through life, often missing a lot of moments… but…

I DIDN’T WANT TO MISS THIS MOMENT!

So I stand there…The wind: crazy… My doors: slamming… Rain: slapping me in the face… and I’m feeling a little bit like Dorothy in the Wizzard of Oz when she was being tossed through the tornado when she clicked her heals… (except I didn’t click my heals and I wasn’t wearing ruby red slippers). Ha! Anyway… I stood there Aaaaa-mazed! I mean really?!? I was in Maui in December and we saw 7 rainbows… and a couple of double rainbows… but I don’t think any of them were quite as magnificent as this! I remember wishing we had sunrises and rainbows like we saw in Maui… And lo and behold.. God gave it to me! IN A PRETTY BIG WAY!

I keep looking at these images and kept help but think they symbolize something! The gloomy but sunny… The black clouds… but the orange falling onto them… The STORM…and the rainbow… It left me speechless.

Sooooo I was looking through some images for a print competition and ran across these! I realized I never posted any shots of my trip to Italy a couple of years ago! So… for your viewing pleasure… Enjoy!

The window on the wall on the left is the same window of Ciak Restaurant (see below!) The window Luigi is looking out of!

This sweet man is the chef/owner of Ciak Restaurant in Monterosso, Italy! His name is Luigi Corciulo and he was born in Vernazza! (Vernazza is behind me in the picture below!) I took this photo through the window of his restaurant… you can see the seafood in the background! LOVE this little place! If you go to the Cinque Terre… Visit Ciak Restaurant in Monterosso!
