Several months ago I got a call from this girl who swore she “blog stalked” me… She wasn’t lying… This girl knew every single post, I had ever written! Had she not be so sweet, I MIGHT have thought she was a little bit crazy… 
But I was definitely flattered! (I mean, I do understand you guys have much more to do than sit and read a blog all day… but it is a great feeling to know someone appreciates what you pour your heart and soul into…)
With that being said, as a photographer, it is amazing to know that the people you are about embark on this journey with… (trust me..it is a journey)… truly appreciate your art… they know your style, they love your style, they know your heart, and can not wait to share one of the most special times of their lives with you! I, in turn, could not wait to share in their special time as well! I am a little sad that it’s all over… BUT I am incredibly excited that I now have two wonderful friends!
Lia Joy & Corby… Words can not express how thankful I am that you are in my life! It has been SUCH a pleasure from day ONE!! The first time I ever spoke with you on the phone I KNEW this whole process (which can be quite stressful) was going to be amazing! :) I have had an absolute BLAST getting to know you guys!! You are two of the most genuine, kind hearted, sweet spirited people anyone will ever meet! You are selfless and loving… and I could go on and on and on…but the internet might think I have a crush on you both! haha In ALL seriousness…. You guys are truly a blessing!! I LOVE the way you two love each other!! The way you look at each other, kiss… hug… It is impossible to miss… You radiate… Your love, your laughs, & your selflessness is contagious… You guys make the people around you…want to be the best we can be…and love the most we can love. Thank you for being a friend and for showing us all what true unconditional, selfless love is meant to be. I {heart} you!

Two years ago I photographed Kristin’s sisters wedding… and immediately, I fell in love with their family!! Some of the sweetest people you will ever meet… I didn’t feel like I was ever “working” for them… as much as I felt like a friend… or a part of the family! When Kristin told me she was engaged… To say the very least I was crazy excited to capture their day!! Not only their day, but I have sincerely loved the entire year of capturing some very special moments! Kristin & Cody… I really cannot say this enough…You guys are BEAUTIFUL! In more ways than one… I am truly honored you chose me to capture your day!! I will forever remember you and your dad breaking out into your Soulja boy routine-mid Father-Daughter dance!! It was priceless and will definitely be hard to top!! You guys know how to throw one heck of a party… It was evident that everyone had such a great time… including myself! Thank you guys for being amazing… and making my job so incredibly enjoyable! I do what I do because of people like you! :) Here are some of my favorites!

A couple of days ago Kyle and I went out in the smoldering heat to grab a few test shots for his modeling portfolio! (Thanks for being a good sport, I know it was HOT!) Kyle… I think these pictures say it all!! You are lookin’ good! I hope you love them!!
Two weeks ago while I was in Chicago I got a phone call from Lauren. Within the first 5 seconds I KNEW she was going to be AWESOME! When we met up yesterday afternoon for her engagement shoot she certainly did not disappoint… Lauren, You are amazing! Aubrey… you’re not so bad yourself! Despite the temperature being 103 degrees… you guys were troopers!
Aubrey serves our country as a Marine… and nearly all of their relationship has been long distance! Patience, Dedication, Thoughtfulness, Selflessness… all of these things and more contribute to who Lauren and Aubrey are. After seeing the way you guys are with each other, I’d say they are stronger because of it…and it was well worth the wait… worth a few lonely nights, a few late night phone calls, the “I miss you’s” and the “Wish you were here’s.” They will finally be able to be together in one location for longer than a few weeks! And guess where they are moving once they are married?!? HAWAII! Don’t feel too bad for them! I don’t feel bad… I am going to come visit! haha
Lauren & Aubrey… you are two of the sweetest, most sincere, kindest, thoughtful people I’ve met! I am so lucky to work with people like you!
Oh… on an unrelated note… Remember the blog post about how I fall at almost every photoshoots… I fell at their photoshoot… Backing up..and BAM… Right on my rear-end! I will learn one of these days!
