Front Porch: College Station, TX Food Photography

I usually work with THE fabulous Sandee Moss of Cinderella Stories Cakes when photographing weddings… We have worked together on more occasions than I can count… and trust me when I say…. her cakes are AHHH-MAAAAAZ-ING!

Seriously-  It is properly named, that is for sure.  So when she asked me if I would photograph some products for a new business venture she and Marche are building I was ecstatic! Truly!

If you have followed the blog for very long… You know I LOVE details… the little things most people “miss”… I like to capture. 🙂 The things that really  make the BIG PICTURE come together…. And I absolutely LOVE photographing food… Two years ago I did a photo shoot for Gringo’s, a Texas based restaurant…  you can view my favorite shot from that shoot here… but since then…I’ve only photographed a few things from another passion of mine… Cooking… Thanks to my Italian roots! 😉  However, I’ve been so busy I’ve neglected my kitchen for a solid month. Sad… I know!   Check out the Bruschetta pictures and recipe! In fact… I am making homemade spaghetti and bruschetta tonight! (None of this Ragu business!)  I am forcing myself to step away from my computer and into my kitchen… and I may even have a glass of wine! (Wine of the night is Moscato D’ Asti) 😉   I may even take a few pictures of the end result! 🙂

In lieu of such a busy couple of months- I encourage all of you to step away from whatever it is that is consuming you…and do SOMETHING ELSE! Anything! I dare ya! 😉

Front Porch will be specializing in gift baskets, tea (& lots of it!), coffee, cheeses, caramel apples & more! Their website should be done in the next couple of weeks… just in time for your Christmas shopping!! 😉  However… I could not wait 2 weeks to show you these…

I’ve gained 10 pounds just from licking my screen! Ha!
