Curacao Maternity Session : Dutch Antilles

I met this sweet couple at the pool our first day in Curacao… I thought about all of my couples who go on honeymoons… who have plenty of pictures of each other but never have many pictures TOGETHER… ha!… I asked this couple if they would like some pictures together… Little did I know, this was their last vacation together before they have their first precious baby!! So these doubled as their maternity pictures!

When we met on the beach in the morning I was thrilled when I saw they were dressed in a beach cover-up, swimwear and sunglasses… It just “fit.” Although I’m a perfectionist (as are most people in this industry), I was reminded… It’s not about having every hair in place… and having a perfect outfit…and taking the sunglasses off… it’s about a perfect moment… and that moment happens when two people who love each other more than words… come together and share that time together… Every laugh… every strand of hair that is out of place… with and without sunglasses… I captured them… as they were… and love that they let me document such a special time in their lives!

When i was showing them a sneak peek he said… “Look at that good lookin’ belly!!” haha! I hope these truly show how in love they are and what incredible parents they will be!Enjoy!
