Remember when… your mom was waking you up for your first day of high school… Some of us may have pulled the cover over our heads and begged for 5 more minutes of sleep (because 5 minutes is a lot when you’re sleepy… or just trying to avoid school as long as you can! ha!) Or… some of us may have been so nervous thinking about walking into a sea of unknown faces… that we were nauseous… The latter… that was me. For those who know me now…who didn’t know me then… would never believe this about me…but when I was younger I was so incredibly shy… I would only speak if someone spoke to me… and meeting people did not come easily! I remember homeroom like it was yesterday… I remember sliding into my desk, gently placing my backpack on top… and hiding behind it… only to perk my head up with my teacher mis-pronounced my last name.
Somewhere along the way I broke out of that mold… I’m not sure when…or how… but to say I am a completely different person from the timid junior high and highschooler I once was…is an understatement.![]()
When Emily walked into her homeroom class… little did she know she would meet the man she would spend the rest of her life with. How is that for a fairy tale beginning?
Emily and Tim were married this past July of 2011… almost 10 years later… and it was… magical!
Emily and Tim… I can NOT say enough amazing things about you!! Anyone who is a part of your lives… (and your families for that matter… no doubt… they are incredible as well..) is blessed beyond belief… and I feel blessed to have captured such a BEAUTIFUL day…and even MORE blessed that I now have two new incredible friends!! I adore each of you…but I adore you both even more together… You guys are perfect together… and I am honored to have shared in your special day!
I can not thank you enough!
Please join me in a glimpse of their very special day… :)
