Savoring Life! – A Personal Post

I called my mom this morning to see what she was doing today and she tells me she is on her way to Niagara Falls.  (WHAT?!) She woke up this morning and decided to take a road trip…

to CANADA!

Talk about savoring life!

On one hand I think this makes her crazy… but on the other hand this makes me incredibly proud… and glad that I am her daughter.  I hope when I’m her age I can call a friend for a week long road trip at the drop of a hat!

We ALL (Let me repeat that… ALL) get wrapped up in work, life, the mundane of the every day busy-ness that we, well… busy ourselves with.

When is the last time we dropped what we were doing… and did something we wanted to… for no other reason than we just want to SAVOR…

THIS moment.

THIS life.

Think about it… You have ONE life… what are you going to do with it?  If this makes it more personal… You only have ONE TODAY… What will you do with your “today?”  :)

…My mom is 70.
